From the outset, The Socialite Family has been encouraging you to exploit the fabulous decorative potential of your walls! To bring out these expressive media, our co-founder Constance Gennari and artist Lucia Sellier have come up with two commissioned and numbered paintings inspired by the world of the Mediterranean basin. These works, hand-composed by Lucia, are brought to life by assembling textile scraps from our collection. Sienna, blue, green: as many colours echoing the summer tones of Italy as bewitching mediums, from leather to corduroy. Available in two versions: a vertical format called Terra di sienna and a horizontal format called Tra mare e cielo, this duo of fantasised landscapes plays on perspective and depth. They feature a succession of arches in classical Italian architecture, set against a backdrop of nature tanned by the scorching sun. Like the cypress tree, the blue waters or the mysterious island in the distance. You can display them in your living room, above your Rotondo modular sofa, or in an intimate bedroom.
