The beginnings of The Socialite Family Edition 

After our years of experience as a media trendsetter, our passion for lighting has become such that we have decided to build upon it by creating our own pieces. For you, for us. 

We wanted to draw upon our culture, our expertise in interior decoration and our savoir-faire to offer you a collection that is multi-functional, sustainable and in tune with our times. That's why, in addition to the products created by our own design studio -- the Gioia table lamp and the Mezza Luna wall light -- we set out to find the next generation of designers. Young designers whose creations we have made available for you. Marika Dru is one of them. 

A signature design 

The Spectre wall light is Marika Dru's first light fitting. Formerly an architect with the MKD studio, she designed The Bureau, a luxury co-working space. To avoid the potentially impersonal feel of a place like this, and to impart an intimate club-like atmosphere, the Parisian designer decided to work with light as a priority. The Spectre wall light is her signature.  

To bring perspective and depth to the location, Marika Dru chose to work with vertical lines for her wall light. Long, cylindrical and incredibly modern, their look is inspired by childhood memories from "La Fábrica", the workshop and home of the illustrious Ricardo Bofill. 

The Spectre lamp saw the light of day in its first two formats for the opening of The Bureau. With the establishment of their second address, they will be redesigned and offered by The Socialite Family so they can find their rightful place in your home.

Its brushed brass finishes add a precious and timeless touch to its contemporary line. Taking its inspiration from industrial neon, the Spectre wall light overturns all manner of preconceived idea with its elegant look. This type of light fitting, often underestimated, is reasserting itself in our homes, stimulating discussions between the past and present. A vintage look, for modern use.
