The Achille chair is a tribute to childhood, a journey through the ages. A simple seat, modern, perfect and elegant, which blends easily with different styles.
A seat inspired by school chairs.
Constance Gennari, founder and artistic director of The Socialite Family, uses her Franco-Italian roots to foster a unique sensibility that blends childhood memories and vintage inspirations.
The Achille chair was conceived by our design studio. The idea behind this new piece was to create a simple, elegant, comfortable and functional seat - cleverly stackable - in reference to the schoolchildren's chairs of our childhood. Minimalism in its purest form, for aesthetes with a refined eye.
Italy, cradle of unique know-how
Our Achille chair was designed in Italy in a family business. It is the result of craftsmanship and the work of man's hand.
Comfort is paramount for this seat, perfectly mastered by our craftsmen who are experts in this field. Each line, each finish is the result of several days spent in a specialised workshop to obtain the designed result.
Different finishes for different looks
The Achille chair is made entirely of beech wood. Sturdy rounded legs and a slightly curved backrest for optimum comfort. An elegant look, enhanced by different finishes:
- Iroko: a warm amber colour, a classic that will appeal to the Cartesians.
- Black lacquer: an elegant accent that asserts the style of this seat, giving it a strong graphic identity.
- Red lacquer: a vibrant colour for the most adventurous, which makes Achille a striking piece.
One chair: many possibilities
The Achille chair takes its place around the dining room table, collectable in identical or mismatched finishes depending on the style you are looking for. But Achille can also be used in a restaurant, an office or even on its own, in a special room, in a corner or in front of a wall.
Another undeniable advantage is that our new chair is stackable and therefore easy to store. It integrates easily into even the smallest of spaces.
