Velvet holds a prominent place in the history of The Socialite Family. From the start, we have made it a signature material that you can find as a common thread running through the iconic products of our collection: Rotondo sofa, Bomboloni cushion and the Cavallo armchair, for example.
As pleasant to the eye as to the touch, the cotton velvet of our Rotondo cushion combines aesthetics and comfort. An ode to its Italian origin, this natural material is an integral part of the life of founder and artistic director of The Socialite Family, Constance Gennari. It is a reference to her Franco-Italian roots and also her childhood memories, which she has developed through peregrinations in a world of theatrical baroque.
