Blue Planter - Cristina Celestino for The Socialite Family
Joining forces with Cristina Celestino to create a collection of everyday objects inspired by my two favourite cities is a real source of pride. Made up of a box, a vase and a flower pot holder, this collection is set apart by its distinctive aesthetic. The designer creations are incredibly practical, refined and eye-catching.
The "Paris-Milano" collection is defined by a clear theme, tracing the origins of The Socialite Family through the cities of Paris and Milan to bring new life to everyday objects. These designer pieces — created by Cristina Celestino and our design studio — offer the perfect balance between practicality and refinement, showcasing the best of Italian craftsmanship.
"Paris-Milano": two designers united by a common energy
"Paris-Milano" is the story of a long-distance encounter between two women: Cristina Celestino, an architect and designer from Milan and the head of the Attico Design brand, and Constance Gennari, the founder and artistic director of The Socialite Family. Two designers united by a common energy and a desire to share their ideas, drawing inspiration from one another to create a collection that bridges the gap between two countries: France and Italy.
More specifically, they were influenced by their two cities — Paris and Milan — which are echoed in the materials and details borrowed from Milanese and Parisian architecture, linked by a certain vintage flair. This common thread has drawn us together since our respective beginnings in 2013, allowing us to realise our dream of combining our brands and bringing them into your home. An opportunity to treat yourself to genuine designer pieces, which are both practical and refined. Colourful designs with matte micro-textured finishes that highlight the artisanal work. The very best of Italian craftsmanship.
Practical yet refined designer pieces
"Paris-Milano" is a veritable voyage rooted in ceramics, the common thread at the heart of this collection, produced by the Italian manufacturer Fornace Brioni. This material brings everyday objects to life — a box, a vase and a planter — encapsulating a sense of home.
Bring a touch of Italian and Parisian architecture to your interior design with our "Paris-Milano" creations, decorative pieces with character in a range of pastel shades. Combining refinement and practicality with geometric patterns that have been in vogue since the Renaissance, you will never tire of admiring them.
An ideal storage solution to casually display on your coffee table, our box is also an elegant receptacle for your jewellery or your keys. As for our charming vase and planter, they can adapt to any room in your home to elevate your decor. Available in a range of soft shades, these creations can also serve as sophisticated display pieces. We love to create pieces that are as elegant as they are functional, rooted in genuine Italian know-how!
Fornace Brioni, where tradition meets innovation
The "Paris-Milano" collected was created in the heart of the Italian region of Lombardy, in the workshops of Fornace Brioni, a manufacturer backed by extensive experience, of which Cristina Celestino has been the artistic director since late 2016.
The history of Fornace Brioni is the story of a family: today, the fourth generation draws on artisanal know-how that has been passed down since 1920. The undisputed leader in the renovation of old floors, this family-run factory also handcrafts terracotta tiles known as "Cotto". This unique clay material can be found on the pieces in the "Paris-Milano" collection in a nod to the architecture of the Louvre Museum.
We recommend that you clean it daily with a soft damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. Be careful not to use chemicals or detergents on the ceramic. This product has the functionality of a planter, be careful not to put your plant directly in it.
